Mine are pink....
I thank God for home sweet things,
a green and friendly hill,
And red geraniums aflame
upon my window sill.

AMARYLLIS PLAN TO BLOOM AGAIN: My sister gives me Amaryllis for Christmas and this WORKS!!
1. Keep it cool through the holidays.
2. Cut the flower stalks when the flower has faded.
3. Increase light, water and fertilizer by putting in a sunny window and fertilizing when February comes
4 Move it outdoors in spring....no worries about leaves dying as long as the threat of frost has passed.
5. For a Christmas bloom start a dormant period by mid August. Withhold water and put in a 55 degree location.
6. Keep in cool storage( cold dark basement) After 8-10 weeks of cool storage, you should notice the tip of a new flower tip.
7. Repot in fertile soil
8.Place in sunny window. Water when semi dry.
